Vera sidika goes white

Most Kenyans have not been kind with
words for the Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika
who recently made a comeback on scene
and has caused ripples worldwide with
the 'skin lightening'.
She had been gone for a while, hibernating
in Nigeria as she underwent her
transformation and she landed in Kenya
last week with a bang and was even
hosted by Larry Madowo on The Trend, a
show that perhaps rubbed Kenyans in all
the wrong ways.
Maybe it was the alleged cost of her 'skin
lightening'.. or the comment right before
it saying she did not want to say the price
and depress the viewers. Maybe it was
her accent or her weave, but whatever it
was, as much as it has earned her
publicity it has also brought her
unfriendly fire even from major
personalities.
