A Man arrested for Stabing A Watermelon

A Connecticut,united states man has been arrested
after his partner told police he stabbed a  watermelon in a display described as ‘passive aggressive’.

Carmine Cervellino, 49, was taken in by police on charges of second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct after
leaving out a watermelon with a butcher’s
knife in it on the kitchen table, which his
partner believed was an attempt to
‘intimidate her’.

The issue initially started when the
woman, who has not been named, found
marijuana and a pill container inside a
toolbox and went to police.

When she returned home later she found
the drugs missing from where she’d
hidden them and returned to the police
station with pictures of the drugs she had
taken earlier on her phone.

It was when she returned for a second
time that she was greeted by the sinister
sight of the watermelon with a knife in it.

Cervellino then reportedly walked in
casually and began cutting up the fruit.

He has since been bailed and his case
reported to Family Services.
